The Lady Lions faced off against the Lady Rangers on March 27th. The Lady Lions fought hard, but came up short against the Lady Rangers with a final score of 4-1.

“I felt like I had three quality bats and I tried to get our offense going, but sometimes the ball just doesn’t play out in your favor,” junior Hailey MacKay said. “I thought I hit the ball hard, too.”

The Lady Lions defense fought hard to only allow four points from the Lady Rangers.

“I thought we played solid defense for the most part minutes a few errors,” MacKay said, “but we need to be more productive at the plate and be able to manufacture runs when we can’t find holes in the field.”

The JV Lady Lions also faced a tough game as Vista Ridge gained the victory with a final score of 11-6.

“I felt like I could’ve done a lot better,” sophomore Baileigh Cooper said, “and stayed more positive throughout the game even though we were losing.”

The Lady Lions’ next game is against Dripping Springs on March 31 at home.
